Sangokushi Taisen Card Out

Open the chute…

Sangokushi Taisen has a broad tabletop in front of the screen, rather than a joystick and buttons. You have cards with excited drawings of raging feudal fighters, and when you place them and move them around, they roar to life onscreen as armies under your command.

You buy your starter deck of cards, then, as you defeat your rivals, more cards are dispensed for you to expand your forces.

What else, though?

I mean there’s a handful of big, bashable buttons and an Aime smartcard point…

But in all honesty, Sangokushi Taisen doesn’t really have much to offer except for rad samurai trading cards, a magic table, and a slot that hands out presents every time you play.

Come on, Sega, make an effort.
